Privacy Policy

H.I.T Portal (“H.I.T”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Rick Shiels Golf. We provide an equipment-fitting tool that helps golfers find the right clubs and gear based on their game.

• Account data— if you sign in: your email and a Supabase user ID. Optionally name, phone, marketing preferences.
• Quiz answers— your responses to fitting questions and the resulting recommendations, stored against your session.
• Local preferences— your golf bag, golfer profile and progress. These are stored in your browser’s localStorage under the keys hit-golfer-profile and hit-golf-bag.
• Auth cookies— Supabase issues a session cookie when you sign in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

• To generate and personalise your equipment recommendations.
• To remember your saved bag and progress between sessions.
• To send you fitting results, with your consent, by magic-link email.
• To send marketing emails only if you have opted in via your profile preferences.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Account and quiz data are stored on Supabase (Postgres) in the EU-West region. Local browser data never leaves your device.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data — you can do this directly on your profile.
• Delete your account and all associated data — available from the Account section of your profile.
• Export your data — email us at the address below.
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time, via your profile or by replying STOP.
